Dipyridamole floating tablets in stomach were prepared using excipients such as HPMC, polyacrylic resins Ⅱ and Ⅳ. The drug dissolution rate in vitro was evaluated. The prepared tablets had good floatation in vitro . The release profile followed Higuchi equation.
