With the development of computers,modern multimedia technology is widely used in EFL teaching andlearning.Multimedia capabilities present teachers with numerous possibilities.A pressure is felt to incorporate this aid to arange of teaching tools.In this paper,a project of reforming EFL teaching in HUST will be reported.As part of the project,the practice of applying multimedia technology in EFL teaching is presented drawing upon advantages of computers andmultimedia technology and the insights gained from the practice in CALL.
