One species, Auplopus smithi（Banks, 1934）（Pompilidae： Pepsinae： Agenillini）, is redescribed and illustrated from China for the first time. A species checklist to the genus Auplopus Spinola from China is provided, including a catalogue and distribution of 19 known species. In addition, a key to the species of the genus Auplopus from China is provided.
