Wang Tao’s “One Principle for the World” is the heritage and development of Dao Qi Theory,Gong Yang San Shi Theory and Da tong (universality) Theory.The connotation of the principle is Wang Tao’s philosophical view of culture,reflections of Chinese Western cultures and his ideas concerning the development of Chinese Western cultures.Wang Tao over stressed the authority of Confucianism,so his further thoughts of reform were hindered.
