Hydrothermal treatment of Mo(CO)6, norfloxacin (H-Norf) and dilute hydroxide sodium solution in Pyrex Also 1 displays blue fluorescent emissions at 416~436 nm in the solid state upon irradiation by UV light. CCDC:241564.
In compound [Zn(sulfasalazine)2(pyridine)] (1), each zinc atom not only coordinates to nitrogen atom of pyridine, but also is connected with four oxygen atoms from carboxylic acid groups of four sulfasalazine ligands, to result in the formation of a distorted tetragonal pyramid. In addition, each sulfasalazine ligand coordinates to two zinc atoms through its two oxygen atoms of carboxylic acid group to afford a 1D chain. CCDC: 274842.
The crystal structure of Mn(BDA)(bpy)2(H2O)(H2O)2 (1)(BDA=6,6′-dibromo-2,2′-dimethoxy-1,1′-bi- naphthylene-4,4′-disulfonate, bpy=2,2′-bipyridine) composes of a manganese center which is surrounded by two nitrogen atoms from 2,2′-bipyridine and four oxygen atoms from three water and sulfonate group of BDA that also participate in H-bonding interactions to form 3D network as well as some uncoordinated water. CCDC: 277922.
Under hydrothermal conditions, the reaction of UO2(NO3)2·6H2O with ligand 4-cyanopyridine N-oxide in the presence of NaN3 affords one complex, {[(POTZ)2(H2O)3(UO2)](H2O) (1) (POTZ=4-tetrazolyl pyridine N-oxide), which is another example of a pyridine N-oxide complex of uranium and exhibit strong green fluorescent emission at room temperature. The structure was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Crystal data: P21/m, a=0.664 16(10) nm, b=2.104 1(3) nm, c=0.683 29(10) nm, β=93.295(3)°, V=0.953 3(2) nm3, Z=2, R1=0.033 7, wR2=0.083 3. CCDC: 241841.
Colorless single crystal of the title compound was accidentally obtained b y a reaction of 3-nitrotyrosine with chloride stannous at different temperature over more than two months. In the structure of hydrochloride of 3-aminotyrosine, the strong interaction of hydrogen-bonds results in the formation of 3D network . CCDC: 251940.
Green single crystal of the title compound was accidentally obtained by the reaction of N,N′-bis(pyridylcarbonyl)-4,4′-diaminodiphenyl ether (L) with nickel perchlorate. In the structure of [Ni( ì3-OH)( ì3-ClO4)(H2O)]n, the local coordinating geometry around Ni center displays a distorted octahedron in which one coordination site of each metal atom was occupied by a water molecule. Each perchlorate anion and hydroxyl group acts as a tridentate bridging spacer to bind three Ni atoms, thus resulting in the formation of two-dimensional layered network. CSD: 414263.
