The citations of the papers on chemistry in Science in China from 1989 to 1998 are statistically analyzed,including mean reference rate,number of citations published,self citation rate,etc.Through such brief study,we realize Science in China is much better than similar Chinese journals in some basic indices and is approaching the advanced level of similar journals in the world.
Chineseandforeignlanguagejournalcitationsin ScienceinChinafrom 1989 to 1998 are comparatively analyzed.As for period of half life,citation rate and self citation rate of journals,they have much different characteristics.The paper describes the citation feature of Science in China in detail.
