The adsorption behavion of Cu 2+ on fiber containing amidoxime groups(AOCF)was studied.The Cu 2+ concentration of aqueous solution was from 0 0087 mol/L to 0 0335 mol/L.The result showed that the adsorption of Cu 2+ on AOCF fitted the Langmuir model and the adsorption equation was Γ=0 276 C /(1+0 0282 C )mg/g.The adsorption reaction followed first order kinetics by means of differential method: C = C 0e - kt .The rate constant of adsorption was obtained at different temperature, k =4 47×10 3e Ea/RT ,and the apparent activation energy was determined to be 24 89 kJ/mol.
