By using a new type of laser measuring instrument 3 Dimension Phase-Doppler-Anemometer (PDA), the characteristics of gas-solid twomphase flows around single finnedtube are measured. The parameters such as slip velocity and turbulent intensity are ana-lyzed. The fluid field and particle movements are also numerically calculated through SIM-PLE Cells and k-ε Double Equations Model combined with FSRT Model (Fluctuation-Spectrum-RandomdsTrajectory Model). Both of experimental and numerical calculation re-sults are essentially identical. The results are very useful in guiding the design and structureoptimization of gasussolid separators with enhanced-heat transfer unit-finned tubes.
