The conclusion of Anglo\|German Naval Agreement on 18 June 1935 is an important event of European international relations in the 1930’s.Germany initiated the negotiations concerned and the British government was enthusiastic about it all along.As an open revision of the Versailles Treaty,the conclusion of the agreement is not only a practice of the British appeasement policy,but also an intentional attempt to block the French policy towards Germany,which aimed to isolate Germany by organizing military alliances.As a result,the conclusion of Anglo\|German Naval agreement destroyed the French policy towards Germany,poisoned Anglo\|French relations,and weakened directly the foundation of cooperation between the two countries while they had to handle the European international crisis in the following years.
