1 IntroductionIn the very recent years,low-dimensional nanomaterials have attracted a great interest in nanoscience and nanotechnology due to their exciting application in electronics[1],optoelectronics[2]and mechanics[3]in nanoscale.Compared to bulk materials,low-dimensional nanomaterials exhibit enhanced or novel physical properties originated in the restricted size and higher surface area.A representative nanomaterial of ZnO,under the pioneering work of Wang[4],has been applied in nanospring,nanolaser,nanodynamotor,field effect transistors,piezoelectricity and gas sensor.These materials show enormous potentials in modern functional nanodevices.
