Two-level stabilized finite element method for Stokes eigenvalue problem

A two-level stabilized finite element method for the Stokes eigenvalue problem based on the local Gauss integration is considered.This method involves solving a Stokes eigenvalue problem on a coarse mesh with mesh size H and a Stokes problem on a fine mesh with mesh size h = O(H 2),which can still maintain the asymptotically optimal accuracy.It provides an approximate solution with the convergence rate of the same order as the usual stabilized finite element solution,which involves solving a Stokes eigenvalue problem on a fine mesh with mesh size h.Hence,the two-level stabilized finite element method can save a large amount of computational time.Moreover,numerical tests confirm the theoretical results of the present method.

Parallel finite element algorithm based on full domain partition for stationary Stokes equations

Based on the full domain partition,a parallel finite element algorithm for the stationary Stokes equations is proposed and analyzed.In this algorithm,each subproblem is defined in the entire domain.Majority of the degrees of freedom are associated with the relevant subdomain.Therefore,it can be solved in parallel with other subproblems using an existing sequential solver without extensive recoding.This allows the algorithm to be implemented easily with low communication costs.Numerical results are given showing the high efficiency of the parallel algorithm.

利用函数空间迭代法和穷举法对校车最优乘车点的规划设计问题给出详细的解答.运用函数空间迭代法求出区与区之间的最短距离.采用穷举法,建立每个问题的目标函数,对于问题1,以每个区到最近乘车点的距离之和最小为目标;对于问题2,把各区人数作为权重,以所有人到最近站点所走的总路程最小为目标.建立一般地最优化模型.通过Matlab编程计算,分别求出设2个和3个最优乘车点的位置,以及每个最优乘车点所需的最少车辆数.

GLOBAL ASYMPTOTICAL PROPERTIES FOR A DIFFUSED HBV INFECTION MODEL WITH CTL IMMUNE RESPONSE AND NONLINEAR INCIDENCE被引量:5

This article proposes a diffused hepatitis B virus (HBV) model with CTL immune response and nonlinear incidence for the control of viral infections. By means of different Lyapunov functions, the global asymptotical properties of the viral-free equilibrium and immune-free equilibrium of the model are obtained. Global stability of the positive equilibrium of the model is also considered. The results show that the free diffusion of the virus has no effect on the global stability of such HBV infection problem with Neumann homogeneous boundary conditions.

A defect-correction method for unsteady conduction convection problems Ⅰ:spatial discretization被引量:4

In this paper, a semi-discrete defect-correction mixed finite element method (MFEM) for solving the non-stationary conduction-convection problems in two dimension is presented. In this method, we solve the nonlinear equations with an added artificial viscosity term on a finite element grid and correct this solutions on the same grid using a linearized defect-correction technique. The stability and the error analysis are derived. The theory analysis shows that our method is stable and has a good convergence property.

A Stabilized Finite Element Method for Non-Stationary Conduction-Convection Problems

This paper is concerned with a stabilized finite element method based on two local Gauss integrations for the two-dimensional non-stationary conductionconvection equations by using the lowest equal-order pairs of finite elements.This method only offsets the discrete pressure space by the residual of the simple and symmetry term at element level in order to circumvent the inf-sup condition.The stability of the discrete scheme is derived under some regularity assumptions.Optimal error estimates are obtained by applying the standard Galerkin techniques.Finally,the numerical illustrations agree completely with the theoretical expectations.

A Posteriori Error Estimate for Stabilized Low-Order Mixed FEM for the Stokes Equations

This paper is concerned with a stabilized approach to low-order mixed finite element methods for the Stokes equations.We will provide a posteriori error analysis for the method.We present two a posteriori error indicators which will be demonstrated to be globally upper and locally lower bounds for the error of the finite element discretization.Finally two numerical experiments will be carried out to show the efficiency on constructing adaptive meshes.

非定常Stokes方程一种基于完全重叠型区域分解的有限元并行算法被引量:1

基于完全重叠型区域分解技巧,本文提出了一种求解非定常Stokes方程的有限元并行算法。该算法的基本思想是首先对空间施行完全重叠型区域分解,然后各个处理器使用向后Euler格式独立并行求解关于时间t的常微分方程;在整个关于时间的迭代过程中,无需处理器间的通信,具有良好的并行性能。该算法中每个处理器所负责的子问题是一个全局问题,它定义在整个求解区域上,但绝大部分自由度来自其所负责的子区域,从而使得该算法稍加修改现有的串行程序即可实现相应的并行计算,实现简单,具有重要的使用价值。同时通过数值算例,在曙光集群并行机上编程实现了上述算法,验证了其有效性。

运用Leray-Schauder拓扑理论,证明了广义静态梁方程和静态梁方程非负解的存在性,仅要求非线性项f在原点的某个邻域满足一定的符号条件,突破了以往对非线性项f的增长性限制.所获结果对工程设计具有重要的理论意义和实用价值.
