Preparation and properties of ZnO nano-whiskers被引量:1

By a novel controlled combustion synthesis method, a large amount of ZnO nano-whiskers with different morphologies like nanotetrapods, long-leg nanotetrapod and multipods, were prepared without any catalysts and additives in open air at high temperature. Their morphologies, structures and optical properties were in-vestigated by using SEM, XRD and PL spectrum. The possible growth mechanisms on the ZnO nano-whiskers were proposed in this paper.

Enhanced mechanical behaviour of lead zirconate titanate piezoelectric composites incorporating zinc oxide nanowhiskers被引量:1

This paper reports that the lead zirconate titanate (PZT) piezoelectric composites incorporating zinc oxide nanowhiskers (ZnO w ) were prepared by the conventional solid state processing. The whisker-dispersed PZT composites (PZT/ZnO w ) presented a significant enhancement in the mechanical properties such as Young's modulus, tensile strength and compressive strength. Especially, the compressive strength increased from 153 MPa for the PZT to 228 MPa for the PZT/ZnO w composites. The reinforcement mechanism in strength of the composites was discussed. The mechanical quality factors of the PZT/ZnO w composites increased considerably, while the piezoelectric constants and electromechanical coupling coefficient decreased slightly. The composites with good electrical and excellent mechanical properties are promising for further applications.

Structural and electrical properties of Nd ion modified lead zirconate titanate nanopowders and ceramics被引量:2

A modified sol-gel method is used for synthesizing Nd ion doped lead zirconate titanate nanopowders Pb1-3x/2NdxZr0.52Ti0.48O3 (PNZT) in an ethylene glycol system with zirconium nitrate as zirconium source. The results show that it is critical to add lead acetate after the reaction of zirconium nitrate with tetrabutyl titanate in the ethylene glycol system for preparing PNZT with an exact fraction of titanium content. It has been observed that the dopant of excess Nd ions can effectively improve the sintered densification and activity of the PNZT ceramics.Piezoelectric, dielectric and ferroelectric properties of the PNZT ceramics are remarkably enhanced as compared with those of monolithic lead zirconate titanate (PZT). Especially, the supreme values of piezoelectric constant (d33) and dielectric constant (ε) for the PNZT are both about two times that of the monolithic PZT and moreover, the remnant polarization (Pr) also increases by 30%. According to the analysis of the structures and properties, we attribute the improvement in electrical properties to the lead vacancies caused by the doping of Nd ions.

Enhanced piezoelectric properties of Nd^(3+) doped nano-lead zirconate titanate piezoelectric ceramics

Nd3+ doped lead zirconate titanate (Pb1-3x/2NdxZr0.52Ti0.48O3, PNZT) nanopowders were prepared through a modified sol-gel method. The effects of Nd3+ doping on the microstructures and properties of PNZT ceramics have been studies. The grain sizes of the perovskite PNZT nanopowders were about 100nm and the lattice distortion of the PNZT increased with the content of Nd3+ up to 9 mol%. The dopant of Nd3+ resulted in the decrease of crystal lattice parameter a and the obvious increase of c and c/a, which effectively improved the sintered densification and activity of the PNZT ceramics. Due to lead vacancies caused by the doping of Nd3+ in the PZT, the piezoelectric constant, electromechanical coupling coefficient and dielectric constant observed were much higher than the monolithic PZT.

Sn含量对PbSnO3-Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3三元系压电陶瓷相结构和电性能的影响被引量:1

采用两步钶铁矿前驱体工艺制备了PbSnO3-Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3(PSn-PMN-PT) 三元系压电陶瓷, 研究了Sn含量的变化对PSn-PMN-PT 三元系压电陶瓷结构和性能的影响。XRD结果表明, 所选成分均处于三方相和四方相共存的准同型相界上, 当Sn含量减少时, PSn-PMN-PT的XRD图谱基本没有发生变化, 而当Sn含量增加时, 在XRD图谱中逐渐出现烧绿石相。电性能研究表明, 缺失少量Sn可以提高PSn-PMN-PT的压电、介电和铁电性能, 减小损耗; 而添加过量Sn明显损害其压电和铁电性能, 增加损耗。缺失0.2mol%Sn的PSn-PMN-PT具有最佳的压电和铁电性能, d33: -530 pC/N, kp: -56.4%, Qm: -570, εr: -3070, tanδ: -0.32%, Pr: -28.9 μC/cm2, EC: -8 kV/cm。

燃烧法氧化锌晶须制备及其光致发光性能研究被引量:1

在没有任何催化剂和添加剂的情况下,采用燃烧法制备了四脚状、多脚状、六棱柱状氧化锌晶须。讨论了反应温度对氧化锌晶须结构的影响,探讨了反应室内锌挥发度对氧化锌晶须形貌的影响。采用X射线衍射仪、电子扫描显微镜和荧光分光光度计对产物结晶结构、形貌和光致发光性能进行表征。研究结果表明:四脚氧化锌晶须的最佳生长温度为940℃;在880℃相对低温下,生成大量六棱柱形氧化锌晶须;在1 000℃下生成细长多脚状氧化锌晶须;在360 nm激发光作用下,发出波长约为520 nm的绿光。

基于溶胶-凝胶的两种旋涂方法制备PZT厚膜(英文)被引量:1

采用溶胶-凝胶法,研究了两种在Au/Cr/SiO2/Si基底上沉积PZT(Pb(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3)厚膜的方法。把与PZT澄清溶胶成分相同的PZT纳米粉混入澄清PZT溶胶,然后超声混合形成PZT浆料,PZT纳米粉的粒径为50~100nm。XRD分析表明两种方法得到的PZT厚膜都获得了单相钙钛矿结构。SEM结果显示两种厚膜厚度大约4μm,第一种旋涂方法制得的PZT厚膜表面粗糙,第二种旋涂方法制得的厚膜表面致密,无裂纹。在1 kHz的测试频率下,第一种和第二种厚膜的矫顽场分别为30 kV/cm和50 kV/cm,饱和极化分别为45μC/cm2和54μC/cm2,剩余极化分别为25μC/cm2and 30μC/cm2。第二种厚膜有较高的直流耐压性能,在300 kV/cm的电场下,仍然保持较好的铁电性能。因而,第二种旋涂方法能够改善PZT厚膜的表面形貌和铁电性能。

Oriented Growth of PZT thick film embedded with PZT nanoparticles被引量:3

This paper reports that dense and crack-free(100)oriented lead zirconate titanate(Pb(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3,PZT)thick film embedded with PZT nanoparticles has been successfully fabricated on Pt/Cr/SiO2/Si substrate by using PT transition layer and PVP additive.The thick film possesses single-phase perovskite structure and perfectly(100)oriented.The(100)orientation degree of the PZT films strongly depended on annealing time and for the 4 μm-thick PZT film which was annealed at 700 ℃ for 5 min is the largest.The(100)orientation degree of the PZT thick film gradually strengthen along with the thickness of film decreasing.The 3 μm-thick PZT thick film which was annealed at 700 ℃ for 5 min has the strongest(100)orientation degree,which is 82.3%.
