Novel exact solutions of coupled nonlinear Schro¨dinger equations with time–space modulation

We construct various novel exact solutions of two coupled dynamical nonlinear Schrdinger equations.Based on the similarity transformation,we reduce the coupled nonlinear Schrdinger equations with time-and space-dependent potentials,nonlinearities,and gain or loss to the coupled dynamical nonlinear Schrdinger equations.Some special types of non-travelling wave solutions,such as periodic,resonant,and quasiperiodically oscillating solitons,are used to exhibit the wave propagations by choosing some arbitrary functions.Our results show that the number of the localized wave of one component is always twice that of the other one.In addition,the stability analysis of the solutions is discussed numerically.

Symmetry Reduction and Exact Solutions of a Hyperbolic Monge-Ampère Equation被引量:4

By means of the classical symmetry method,a hyperbolic Monge-Ampère equation is investigated.The symmetry group is studied and its corresponding group invariant solutions are constructed.Based on the associated vector of the obtained symmetry,the authors construct the group-invariant optimal system of the hyperbolic Monge-Ampère equation,from which two interesting classes of solutions to the hyperbolic Monge-Ampère equation are obtained successfully.

A new four-dimensional chaotic system with a linear term and a 3-term cross product is reported.Some interesting figures of the system corresponding different parameters show rich dynamical structures.
