Contamination of soil, leaves and vegetables by polychlorinated biphenyls in Xiamen region, China被引量:6

The paper aimed to identify the primary of polychlorinated biphenyls(PCBs) in the Jiulong River Estuary, investigate the spatial distribution of PCBs contamination in the environment, localize the atmospheric source and evaluate ongoing PCBs emissions by analyzing soil samples collected along the Jiulong River region. In addition, the accumulation of PCBs in the human food chain was quantified by analyzing leaf of orange trees and vegetable samples collected along a gradient of soil/atmospheric contamination moving away from the source. Consequently, the impact on the human health and the ecosystem was quantified, different management options were proposedto reduce this impact and to carry out research on organic contaminants along the Jiulong River and Xiamen region.

海洋苯酚降解菌Candida sp.P5的分离鉴定及其降解特性被引量:19

从海洋沉积物中分离、筛选到一株能以苯酚作为唯一碳源和能源的酵母菌P5.根据菌落特征、菌体形态、生理生化特性和18S rDNA序列分析,确定菌株P5为假丝酵母菌属(Candida sp.).该菌株最适宜生长和降解苯酚的条件为:温度25℃,pH6.0~7.0,摇床转速100r/min,需氧;菌株P5能在较高浓度的苯酚条件下生长,在72h内可以降解95%以上的苯酚.对苯酚代谢途径和相关酶的研究发现,菌株P5主要在邻苯二酚1,2-双加氧酶作用下通过邻位途径进行苯酚代谢.

厦门西海域综合整治后表层沉积物污染状况被引量:4

根据2003年11月的厦门西海域表层沉积物污染状况的现场调查资料,对2002年综合整治后厦门西海域重金属含量及异养细菌、粪大肠肝菌等的分布特点进行了研究。结果表明,厦门西海域表层沉积物中Cu、Zn、As含量的平均值分别为:67.4、283.8、9.8×10-6(干重),各站位沉积物中的Cu、Zn离子含量都超标。员当湖排污口附近的污染最为严重,粪大肠杆菌、弧菌、多环芳烃降解菌和油脂降解菌数都为最高值,在沉积物样品中分别可达到490/g、3.3×103/g、1.5×105/g、5×104/g。

Isolation of marine benzo[a]pyrene-degrading Ochrobactrum sp. BAP5 and proteins characterization被引量:10

A bacterial strain BAP5 with a relatively high degradation ability of benzo[a]pyrene (BaP) was isolated from marine sediments of Xiamen Western Sea, China and identified as Ochrobactrum sp. according to 16S rRNA gene sequence as well as Biolog microbial identification system. Strain BAP5 could grow in mineral salt medium with 50 mg/L of BaP and degrade about 20% BaP after 30 d of incubation. Ochrobactrum sp. BAP5 was able to utilize other polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) (such as phenanthrene, pyrene and fluoranthene) as the sole carbon source and energy source, suggesting its potential application in PAHs bioremediation. The profile of total soluble protein from Ochrobactrum sp. BAP5 was also investigated. Some over- and special-expressed proteins of strain BAP5 when incubated with the presence of BaP were detected by two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, and found to be related with PAHs metabolism, DNA translation, and energy production based on peptide fingerprint analysis through matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry.

Levels of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in some agricultural, industrial and urban areas along Xiamen coastal waters, China被引量:4

An intensive investigation was conducted to study the distribution of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs), to show firstly the level of pollution i n the agricultural areas and analyses specifically the status of soil polluted b y these persistent pollutants in some locations of Xiamen region. Soil samples c ollected from Jiulong agricultural catchment have been analysed for 16 PAH compo unds, using gas chromatography flame ionization detection in order to determine the level of selected PAH components and to identify the factors that may contro l their distribution and persistence in the area. The main PAHs found in soil sa mples were the low molecular weight. The total PAHs detected in soil samples ran ged from 0.50 to 0.95 ?滋g/g soil. The highest values of PAHs were significantly detected in the orange tree leaves, which range from 236.1 to 249.3 ?滋g/g soil showing recent atmospheric inputs of these volatile pollutants. The distributio n of PAHs in vegetable were monitored and indicating that the concentration were high and ranged from 8.24 to 58.87 ?滋g/g. Other sediment samples were also col lected and analysed from urban sewage(5.26 ?滋g/g dw), aquacultural(0.52 ?滋g/g dw) and industrial areas(from 0.62 to 2.09 ?滋g/g dw), during this investigation . The contamination of Jiulong river estuary and Xiamen Western Sea by PAHs has been then widely justified by wastewater discharges and soil runoffs from these areas. The results, therefore, provide important information on the current cont amination status caused by the atmospheric transport and point to the need for u rgent actions to stop the release of these hydrocarbons to the environment. The necessity of implementing systematic monitoring of PAHs is also emphasized.

海洋假单胞菌SB12产表面活性剂的研究被引量:1

从汕头湾海底沉积物中分离到24株表面活性剂产生菌,对其中一株产生物表面活性剂能力最强的菌株(SB12)进行鉴定、发酵条件优化及生物表面活性剂特性的初步研究.经鉴定,确定该菌株为假单胞菌(Pseudomonas sp.).对其产生物表面活性剂的发酵条件进行优化,确定了最佳单因子发酵条件:氮源为蛋白胨,盐浓度为0.1%,pH 9.5,温度为25℃,培养时间为6 d;优化后的最小表面张力为19.77 mN/m.分析发酵液中生物表面活性剂的特性发现:菌株SB12产生的生物表面活性剂具有良好的乳化性能,乳化力达91%;产生的生物表面活性剂具有较广的温度和pH适应范围.
