The driving safety in the laneway is often controlled by multiple disaster sources which include fault fracture zone, water-bearing body, goaf and collapse column. The advanced prediction of them has become a hotspot. Based on analysis of physical characteristics of the disaster sources and comparative evaluation of accuracy of the main advanced geophysical detection methods, we proposed a comprehen- sive judging criterion that tectonic interface can be judged by the elastic wave energy anomaly, strata water abundance can be discriminated by apparent resistivity response difference and establish a reason- able advanced prediction system. The results show that the concealed disaster sources are detected effec- tively with the accuracy rate of 80% if we use advanced prediction methods of integrated geophysics combined with correction of seismic and electromagnetic parameters, moreover, applying geological data, we may then distinguish types of the disaster sources and fulfill the qualitative forecast. Therefore, the advanced prediction system pays an important referential and instructive role in laneway driving project.

This paper proposes the concept of projection curves based on the theory of CT image reconstruction to probe the internal structure of the working panel prior to formal mining of the working panel. As well as reducing costs, this method provides safe and efficient excavation of the working panel.According to the results of the numerical model and the actual working panel, the new method has been proven to be accurate in detecting the location of the fault that extends into the face.Concealed faults of the internal working panel,as well as the start and end points of the fault, can be detected by this method.Engineering practice has proven that the method is highly reliable, has a highly decisive impact on faults for coal mining, and can be used to guide the safe mining of the working panel.
Fault fracture zones and water-bearing bodies in front of the driving head are the main disasters in mine laneways, thus it is important to perform their advanced detection and prediction in advance in order to provide reliable technical support for the excavation.Based on the electromagnetic induction theory,we analyzed the characteristics of primary and secondary fields with a positive and negative wave form of current, proposed the fine processing of the advanced detection with variation rate of apparent resistivity and introduced in detail the computational formulae and procedures. The result of physical simulation experiments illustrate that the tectonic interface of modules can be judged by first-order rate of apparent resistivity with a boundary error of 5%,and the position of water body determined by the fine analysis method agrees well with the result of borehole drilling. This shows that in terms of distinguishing structure and aqueous anomalies, the first-order rate of apparent resistivity is more sensitive than the secondorder rate of apparent resistivity. However, some remaining problems are suggested for future solutions.
