A novel triphenylphosphine-contained poly(ether ether ketone ketone) was synthesized from bis[4-(p-fluorobenzoyl)-phenyl]phenylphosphine oxide and hydroquinone by nucleophilic copolycondensation with sulfolane as the solvent. The structure was confirmed via FTIR, 31P NMR and 1H NMR. Electrical property, mechanical property, heat-resistance property, flame resistance and solubility were also evaluated. The results show that the polymer has an excellent heat-resistance, the glass transition temperature(Tg) is 212.6 ℃. The 5% mass loss of the polymer in nitrogen atmosphere took place at 476 ℃. The polymer is soluble in many organic solvents, such as CH2Cl2, CHCl3, Cl2(CH)2Cl2, Cl(CH2)2Cl, DMF, and NMP at room temperature, the polymer possesses well film ability, good mechanics property, electrical property, and the LOI is 44 which indicates that it possesses an excellent flame retardancy.
A new kind of phosphorus-containing monomer bis(4-(p-fluorobenzoyl)phenyl)phenylphosphine oxide was synthesized first, then a poly(aryl ether ketone) containing phosphorus in the main ring was synthesized, derived from bis(4-(p-fluorobenzoyl)phenyl)phenylphosphine oxide and bisphenol-S by nucleophilic copolycondensation with the use of sulfolane as solvent. The structure was confirmed by FT-IR,()31P-NMR and()1H-NMR.Electrical property, mechanical property,heat-resistance property,combustion-resistance and solubility was also researched to know the influence of the containing of phosphorus. The results showed that the polymer have excellent heat-resistance,the glass transition temperature(Tg) was 235℃.The onset temperature taken at 5% weight loss of the polymer in nitrogen was 463℃.The polymer was soluble in CH2Cl2,CHCl3,Cl2(CH)2Cl2,Cl(CH2)2Cl and strongly polar organic solvents such as(N,N-dimethylformamide)(DMF),N-methyl2pyrrolidone (NMP) at room temperature.
A phosphrous-containing poly(aryl ether ketone) was synthesized derived from bisphenol-A and bis[4-(4- fluorobenzoyl)phenyl] phenyl phosphine oxide (FPPPO) by nucleophilic substitution reaction. The structure of the polymer was characterized by FT-IR, ^1H-NMR and ^31p-NMR. The thermal property of the PAEK was measured by DSC and TGA. The glass transition temperature (Tg) of the polymer was 205℃, and the 5% weight loss temperature under nitrogen was 475℃. Good solubility of the polymer in organic solvents, such as N-methylpyrrolidone, dimethylformamide, dimethylacetamide, dimethylsulfoxide and chloroalkanes was observed, flexible film was obtained from the polymer's CH2Cl2 solution. The limiting oxygen index (LOI) of the PAEK was 40, which indicated that organic phosphorus moiety can offer good flame retardant property to the polymer.
Aromatic copolyamides were synthesized by the Yamazaki phosphorylation method starting from bis(4- carboxyphenyl) phenyl phosphine oxide, terephthalic acid and 4,4 -diaminodiphenyl methane. The copolymers with inherent viscosities of 0.52-0.99 dL/g were obtained. The structures of the copolyamides were characterized by elemental analysis, FTIR and NMR.The glass transition temperatures were measured by DSC and DMA,respectively, and the results showed that the T_gs of the polymers were higher than 287℃.Thermal de...
A novel poly(ether ether ketone) derived from 2 (6 oxide 6H dibenz〈c, e〉〈1, 2〉oxa phospho rin 6 yl) 1,4 dihydroxyphenylene, 4, 4′ diflourodiphenylketone and bisphenol A was synthesized by solution polycondensation. The influences of reaction time, and concentration of reactants on the polymerization were investigated . A copolymer with inherent viscosity of 1 44 was obtained. As characterized by FT IR, 1 H NMR and 31 P NMR the product was a terpolymer, consisted of bisphenol A and difluorodiphenylketone. The DSC analysis show its T g was 171 ℃. The copolymer was soluble in many polar solvents.
