36W侧面抽运腔内倍频Nd:YAG/KTP连续绿光激光器被引量:4

通过优化平-凹-平三镜折叠腔结构设计,利用大功率半导体激光器侧面抽运、Ⅱ类相位匹配KTP晶体腔内倍频,获得高效高功率连续绿色激光输出.当抽运电流约为36 A时,得到最高36.6 W的连续绿光激光输出,对应的光—光转换效率为8.71%.在输出功率33 W时测量激光功率稳定性,其功率不稳定度为0.27%.用刀口法测量了激光器高输出功率时的光束质量,光束质量因子小于8.对高功率抽运情况下三镜折叠腔的像散补偿、失调灵敏度和基模在腔内分布情况做了数值模拟.

Continuous-wave mid-infrared intracavity singly resonant optical parametric oscillator based on periodically poled lithium niobate被引量:7

This paper reports a continuous-wave (CW) mid-infrared intracavity singly resonant optical parametric oscillator based on periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) pumped by a diode-end-pumped CW Nd:YVO4 laser. Considering the thermal lens effects, it adopted an optical ballast lens and the near-concentric cavity for better operation. At the PPLN's grating period of 28.5 μm and the temperature of 140℃, the maximum idler output power of 155 mW at 3.86 μm has been achieved when the 808 nm pump power is 8.5 W, leading to an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 1.82%.

太赫兹通信是一个极具应用前景的技术,太赫兹波有非常宽的还没分配的频带,并且具有传输速率高、方向性好、安全性高、散射小及穿透性好等许多特性。发展太赫兹通信技术已成为各发达国家研究的热点。该文分析了国内外太赫兹通信的研究情况;以太赫兹通信系统的整体框架,全面地介绍和分析了太赫兹通信的一些关键技术和最新研究成果;同时,对太赫兹的技术发展趋势和应用前景做了展望,提出了太赫兹技术的发展战略。

Compact and tunable mid-infrared source based on a 2 μm dual-wavelength KTiOPO_4 intracavity optical parametric oscillator

Using a double resonant KTiOPO4 (KTP) intracavity optical parametric oscillator operating at degenerated point of 2 μm, we demonstrate a unique mid-infrared source based on difference frequency generation in GaSe crystal. The output tuning range is 8.42-19.52 μm, and a peak power of 834 W for type-Ⅰ phase matching scheme and 730 W for type-Ⅱ phase matching scheme are achieved. Experimental results show that this oscillator is a good alternative to the generator of a compact and tabletop mid-infrared radiation with a widely tunable range.

八角格子光子晶体光纤的传输特性被引量:8

基于带有各向异性完全匹配层吸收边界条件的紧凑二维频域有限差分法(2D-FDFD)对八角格子光子晶体光纤(O-PCF)的模式分布、模式截止特性以及色散特性进行了数值模拟。通过计算八角格子光子晶体光纤前20个模式分布发现,其模场形状比六角格子光子晶体光纤(H-PCF)的好,更接近于圆形;利用有效面积方法分析了八角格子和六角格子光子晶体光纤基模和二阶模的截止特性,得到了非限制模、基模和多模的相图。比较发现相同填充率和空气孔间距时,八角格子光子晶体光纤的单模运转区域要比六角格子光子晶体光纤的宽,且更易用于色散补偿。

研究了太赫兹波在具有有限电导率的金属镀层空芯波导中的传输特性.从其传输的特性方程出发,利用Newton-Raphson迭代方法数值模拟了传输损耗和相位常数随太赫兹波频率、波导内径以及波导中金属镀层的电导率的变化关系.结果表明,采用大芯径波导和高电导率的金属镀层能有效降低太赫兹波的传输损耗.

Compact efficient optical parametric generator internal to a Q-switched Nd:YVO_4 laser with periodically poled MgO:LiNbO_3

This paper demonstrates a compact efficient optical parametric generator internal to a Q-switched dlode-endpumped Nd:YVO4 laser with periodically poled MgO:LiNbO3(PPMgLN). With the Q-switch set at a repetition rate of 25kHz and the PPMgLN crystal operated at room temperature (25℃), the intracavity optical parametric generator threshold was reached as a diode pump power of 0.9 W. A maximum signal output power of 0.34 W with a pulse width of 25 ns and a beam quality factor of 1.4 was obtained at an incident diode power of 3.4 W, leading to a conversion efficiency of 10% with a slope efficiency of 14.4%. By varying the crystal temperature from 25 to 200℃, the output signal wavelengths were tuned in range of 1506-1565 nm. Over a 30-minutes interval, the instability of the signal power was measured to be less than 1%. In addition, the threshold pump intensity for the intracavity optical parametric generator is theoretically investigated, and the obtained result is in good agreement with the experimental results.

用平面波展开法研究了太赫兹波在二维三角晶格光子晶体中的传播特性。数值计算了以硅为背景的空气圆柱构成的二维三角晶格光子晶体的能带结构和态密度,计算表明r=0.50a和r=0.46a时,E偏振和H偏振分别出现最大光子带隙,带隙宽度分别0.1097THz和0.1935THz,在r=0.48a出现最大完全光子带隙,带隙宽度为0.0759THz,光子晶体态密度的分布也表明了存在光子带隙的范围,研究结果为太赫兹器件的开发提供了理论依据。

High efficiency continuous-wave tunable signal output of an intracavity singly resonant optical parametric oscillator based on periodically poled lithium niobate被引量:5

In this paper we report on a continuous-wave (CW) intracavity singly resonant optical parametric oscillator (ICSRO) based on periodically poled LiNbO3 (PPLN) pumped by a diode-end-pumped CW Nd:YVO4 laser. Considering the thermal lens effects and diffraction loss, an optical ballast lens and a near-concentric cavity are adopted for better operation. Through varying the grating period and the temperature, the tunable signal output from 1406 nm to 1513 nm is obtained. At a PPLN grating period of 29 pm and a temperature of 413 K, a maximum signal output power of 820 mW at 1500 nm is achieved when the 808 nm pump power is 10.9 W, leading to an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 7.51%.

An all-solid-state high power quasi-continuous-wave tunable dual-wavelength Ti:sapphire laser system using birefringence filter被引量:1

This paper describes a tunable dual-wavelength Ti:sapphire laser system with quasi-continuous-wave and high-power outputs. In the design of the laser, it adopts a frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser as the pumping source, and the birefringence filter as the tuning element. Tunable dual-wavelength outputs with one wavelength range from 700 nm to 756.5 nm, another from 830 nm to 900mn have been demonstrated. With a pump power of 23 W at 532 nm, a repetition rate of 7 kHz and a pulse width of 47.6 ns, an output power of 5.1 W at 744.8 nm and 860.9 nm with a pulse width of 13.2 ns and a line width of 3 nm has been obtained, it indicates an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 22.2%.
